Overcome Fears Or Phobias

When a fear becomes irrational and all consuming, it can have a devastating effect on many areas of our lives. We know a fear is irrational, if the majority of people do not under normal circumstances, fear that particular thing. There are the common fears such as of heights or spiders as well as the more unusual ones, such as a fear of buttons. If your fear is causing you to avoid particular situations unnecessarily, or make you feel depressed, then now is the time to take action. The great news is that these fears can be changed using Cognitive Hypnotherapy very successfully and often in a very short time.

Hypnotherapy For Public Speaking

Public speaking can be daunting and is one of the most common fears that people have. Whether you do it on a regular basis or every now and then, Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help you overcome your fear.

Whether you have to give presentations at a business meeting or as a one-off, for example a speech at a wedding or honour somebody with the eulogy at their funeral. If it is something you are not used to doing, it can be a bit of a challenge. Cognitive hypnotherapy together with NLP can help you to be confident in your ability to deliver the presentation in a relaxed way. You will be taught techniques that you can use to help yourself remain focused and calm, so that you have the greatest chance of giving the performance you had most wanted to deliver.

Hypnotherapy for Exam/Interview Anxiety

If you are the type of person who dreads tests or exams, for whom the thought of having an interview makes you cringe, it is time you did something about it!

Some know that this is simply a means to an end and that they need to put all their focus and energy on doing them as well as possible. You could quite easily become one of these people.

By deciding to do something positive about the situation, you could take the first step towards making this issue a thing of your past. Cognitive hypnotherapy and NLP can provide techniques and exercises to help you relax before and during the event whilst having only enough adrenalin flowing to enable you to perform at your best.

Claustrophobia

I just thought I’d let you know that I thought I’d give the Big Wheel a try  where I am spending the days with my sons. Last time I came here I went on it and had a panic attack as I was so scared. Today I got on and felt not a moment of fear, incredible!

Flying

Have just booked our seats on the plane chosen by Owen after looking at photos of a plane and looking over the seating plan with no explosions or cross words! So Pleased! Owen has just announced he is kind of looking forward to going on the plane!!! He actually said he was excited. You seem to have performed some kind of miracle. He was like a new boy yesterday _ it was like the weight of the world had been lifted.

Spiders

Well I don’t know what to say – I don’t freak out when I see a spider,  I don’t chew my nails, and NOW I don’t get intimidated by mega experienced Yogis.

Heights and ’space’

Kept meaning to email but didn’t get the time over skiing! So just wanted to say that the fear was so non-existent that I thought nothing of being up on a piste or on a chair lift. I did get a few flutters when I went on a really high one which my friends also agreed they were scared on. But the ski lift which was nicknamed in the report as the Scare Chair I really enjoyed and sat looking around at the wildlife! It really has helped me enormously, thank you so much!

Small Spaces

From an older man, phobic of small spaces and being in someone else’s control since he was a small child. This to the point that he could not even go to see his doctor. “Hi Siobhan. Just to let you know I had my hernia op just over a week ago, and had no problems with that or anything else, thanks for your help, GW”

Claustrophobia

I’ve been meaning to get in touch to say a big thank you for helping me with my claustrophobia. The flight to San Francisco was no problem at all. I even found that my dislike of heights seemed to have lessened. We decided to go up the Coit Tower which is high on a hill above the city. Necessitated being crammed in a tiny lift with lots of people, followed by a steep and narrow spiral staircase to a viewing platform high above the ground. I even looked down with no hesitation. I gave you a big challenge with short time scales and you absolutely nailed it. Thanks SO much! We had an amazing holiday and I didn’t spend the whole time worrying about the journey. I have recommended you to a couple of friends.
