Reduce Pain
It is well recognised now that there are two main aspects to the experience of pain. One is the physical pain itself, the ‘felt’ pain. The other is the emotional ‘suffering’. This means the worry and fear that surrounds the fact that you have the pain: what does this mean? is this an indication of something really serious? will this stop me from living my life in a meaningful and pleasant way? will I lose my independence, my job, my partner, my life? Endless, unanswerable and often catastrophic thoughts that we are plagued with and reminded of by the presence of the felt pain. It can make our lives a living hell.
Let Me Help You Manage Your Pain
Using Cognitive Hypnotherapy we can radically reduce the suffering part of the experience of pain. Using hypnosis and appropriate breathing techniques we can help to reduce the physical pain itself.
I was surprised at what a difference it makes calming and processing the worries I was not fully aware were even there. I do still have physical pain but it has eased considerably, and is somehow no longer nearly as frightening as it was before I had treatment. Thank you.

I was extremely reluctant to contact Siobhan but the therapy I have received from her has had an incredibly positive impact on my life. Thank you, and you will be my first call if I feel I need to talk.
